Lucy Douglas

I came to writing from an enthusiastic amateur dramatic background, beginning with writing my own comedy sketches so I could have the best parts, and graduating to full length plays and pantomimes (one of these in rhyming couplets), which have all been performed, albeit locally. I am now trying to spread my literary wings to short stories. Most of these have a nasty tendency towards blood, death and general bunny-boiling, but my writing group is being very supportive about trying to wean me away from this.
