Matthew Howard

Matthew trained as a professional actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Since graduating in 2008, Matthew has appeared on stage as "Oberon" & "Theseus" in "A Latesummer Night’s Dream", an open-air version of Shakespeare’s classic "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" set in the 1920’s, and as "Borachio" in "Much Ado About Nothing". He has also performed in Stand Up Drama’s "London Bites" and recorded for Shortbread Stories and Spoken Ink.

Matthew has recently filmed 2 short films - "Heavens" and "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" and is in pre-production on a third, as yet untitled short

Whilst at LAMDA, Matthew appeared as "Charley Wykeham" in "Charley’s Aunt"; "Balance" in "The Recruiting Officer", which also toured to venues in and around Turin, Italy; "Sam Turner" in the world premier of "Still"; and "Pavel" in "Fathers and Sons".

Matthew is originally from Devon, where work at the Exeter Northcott Theatre includes "D’Arcy" in "The Curse of the Werewolf" (Also at the Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, Cornwall), "The Patriarch" in "Hysteria" and "Khlestakov" in "The Government Inspector".
