Great Story!!! › Rather haunting. A story that would not let this reader leave until the last word. Very creative and I loved the person and scenery descriptions. Made it all very real. Would like to hear it on audio.

rubens on acid › This is a wonderful story, and a fabulous character sketch. Miss Dobson will stay with me for some time. It put me in mind of the late, great Bernice Rubens - a master in the drawing of isoloated, quirky, older female characters. The fantastical ending is nice too - I expected Miss D to peg it, but did not see the Angel's malevolence coming at all. Lovely.
